Howdy! Progress on expanding the scope has slowed as I've gotten busier, and led to a funny conundrum: I made the game so I could learn Korean, but I was spending my free time programming the game rather than... learning Korean. I'll likely try to expand with features and scopes more aggressively during the summer, when I have an extended break from teaching work.

I've now reached Master 430 in my own game, and my Korean friends at work have been quite impressed with my rapid progress! I can recite both number systems, can state all the cardinal directions, and can talk about various objects I see.

Over 100 people have registered an email for the game, and I thank you for your support and patience as I continue to update the game further. Thousands of Korean words have gotten mastered.

The Game Update

This latest update is a bit minor, as I've replaced some words, updated the accuracy of others, shifted some ordering around, the usual suspects.

I've also made Mastering a word give a +10 experience bonus and adjusted the experience bar accordingly, which should help stay at the lower bound of the word count (22'ish) when still learning a batch and stick closer to the higher bound (28'ish) when excelling.

Finally, I've bumped up the chance of base verbs appearing, since it was a touch too hard to master them with the tense variation.

Important Feedback Request!

I'm also contemplating if there should be a reordering of some of the word packs. The way it works is that whenever words are added, it takes a word from some of the packs at the top. Once a pack of words is empty, it is discarded and the next pack starts getting chosen through. This gives a mix of different types of words, but some packs seem a bit far down as a result (like Color). Input on this would be welcome. The current pack order, prioritized from top to bottom:
