Version 1.25 - Word & Verb Improvements

Almost 100 people have a save file with the game now, with the highest record mastered being 337 words, which is somehow even more than me! And I made the game! Much thanks to everyone who has tried the game and left feedback.

I've had a busy week and I've been unsuccessful at finding sound effects that quite hit the way I'm aiming for, so this update is a bit sparser, but still rather important.

I've added a few words (such as the ordinal term for 2nd, 3rd, etc) and rearranged the ordering of words so the Sino Numbers will appear earlier on. They currently take too long to arrive but are just as important as the native Korean numbers.

I also found that while important, the rate that prepositions and conjunctions were appearing was too high, as they dominated too much of the Essentials word pool. Now the pool has been updated with words that aren't necessarily essential, but still worthwhile (like toilet, and of course milk).

Finally, I noticed that it was possible to eventually have significantly more verbs than nonverbs at a point because verbs appeared at a static 25% rate and are also generally harder to master. In this update, the rate that verbs appear adjusts dynamically based on the current proportion of verbs in your word bank, helping ensure they don't get too neglected while practicing.

I'm also closely monitoring the rate of mastered words. My hunch is that these changes should make word mastery a little harder, but not by too much. I can increase the experience required to master words, but this is something I'm cautious about doing, as I think it's ideal if words are mastered a little too quickly rather than a little too slowly. Nothing kills motivation quite like tedium does.

As always, keep the feedback rolling! I have some updates planned for things like reverse mode, answer choice obscurement, sound only mode, study music, and sound effects.

I personally like your app because I can learn verb conjugation through it. So, I think having the verbs present and balanced but not neglected is great. There are a lot of apps that teach you a million "to be/dictionary form" verbs and object nouns like "car, desk, door," etc., but not enough apps that teach you how to put them together correctly through exposure like yours does. Keep at it, Aqua Dragon!

Thank you for the support! That was definitely an impetus for making the game. I found I was learning Korean most effectively from an app game called Korean Dungeon which bears many similarities to this one. But 200 words in, I realized... that there were no verbs ! It was one of the biggest factors in deciding to just go "Fine, I'll do it myself."
